Sláinte [SLON-cha] is a friendly and welcoming
Gaelic or Celtic Toast,
similar to the English toast, "To Your Health!"
So lift your glass when you're in Historic Dublin and toast your neighbor with a hearty "Sláinte!" |

| A message from HDBA President Bill Jacob: |
 |
A hearty Sláinte! to you from the businesses and residents of Dublin's Historic District!
In 1984 Ohio’s tourism office created the slogan, “Ohio, The Heart of It All.” It is my contention that Dublin is the Heart of Ohio. If that is the case, that puts the Dublin Historic District squarely in the center of the Universe!
Historic Dublin is a highly visible and welcoming destination. There are so many great people they need to meet and places they need to visit.
|
When people come to Historic Dublin they come searching for a unique and satisfying experience: It is our job to fulfill that expectation.
There are no challenges we can’t overcome if we work together. So, "get your green on", and let’s make Historic Dublin a great place in which to work, live, and play.
Will you join us?
Bill Jacob, President
Historic Dublin Business Association |

“The Historic Dublin Business Association is a not for profit
organization comprised of business and property owners
working together to promote business prosperity and to
preserve and enhance the integrity of Historic Dublin.”

Do you have a business in Historic Dublin? Join the HDBA and see all that we can do for you!
Email our District Coordinator Gretchen Friend to learn more or download the membership form here! |

The HDBA is served by a Board of Directors elected to one-year terms.
Three committees oversee operations of the HDBA; each committee is headed by Board members.
We coordinate our efforts with three District Councils, which operate semi-independently of the Board.
Each District Council represents a unique business sector in the Historic District.
The HDBA employs a District Coordinator to manage the daily operations of the Association.
General membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month - 8:30am at the Dublin Library; HDBA BoD meetings are held just prior to each General Meeting (see THE Dublin Calendar for dates) |

Services and Professionals Council
All businesses within the District naturally fit into one of these
Council categories; each member of HDBA is automatically a part of
its appropriate Council.
Each Council can select its own Leadership Team, and can develop its own programs, activities, events and
action plans.
Councils exist to support the other Councils and are encouraged
to coordinate and partner with the other Councils where it
makes sense.
Councils may request direct
endorsement from the HDBA Board including funding.
All Councils are in need of active participants and volunteers as part
of their Leadership Teams. |

|
There's strength in numbers - join the HDBA and enjoy these and many other benefits:
- Group Marketing and Promotion
- Networking Opportunities
- Representation to the City of Dublin with a Unified Voice
- Help Create a Vibrant and Prosperous Historic District |
